An Afternoon with Margaret Wheatley

Spirited Leadership in Critical Times

Friday, April 20, 2012, 1:00-4:30pm
co-sponsored by Wisdom Ways Center for Spirituality & Loyola Center for Spirituality

As we seek to persevere through these critical times, how do we maintain our direction, focus, and ethics in spite of upheavals and turbulence? We must know our ground, the deep beliefs from which we confidently lead. If we know what we stand for, we can lead with spirit.

Wheatley is a well-respected writer, speaker, and teacher addressing how we can accomplish our work, sustain our relationships, and willingly step forward to serve in difficult times. Her six books have been widely translated and read worldwide, including Leadership and the New Science, which has been published in 18 languages. Her most recent book, co-authored with Deborah Frieze, Walk Out Walk On features communities from around the world that use ingenuity and caring to work with what they have to create what they need. She is co-founder of The Berkana Institute, which partners with resilient communities as they discover wisdom and wealth already present in their people, traditions and environment. A selection of her books will be available for purchase and author signing.

This event is co-sponsored by Wisdom Ways Center for Spirituality and Loyola Center for Spirituality.
