Kaitlin Curtice

Kaitlin Curtice is an award-winning author, poet-storyteller, and public speaker. An enrolled citizen of the Potawatomi Nation, she writes and teaches at the intersections of spirituality and identity for audiences committed to truth-telling and healing.

Her newest books are Spring’s Miracles: An Indigenous Celebration of Nature (March 2025), the latest title in her Four Seasons children’s series with Convergent/Random House, and Everything Is a Story (adult nonfiction, October 2025), which continues her exploration of spirituality, identity, and belonging.

Meet Imnizaska Drum Group

The Imnizaska Drum Group is a Native American drum ensemble based in Minnesota that shares Indigenous cultural traditions through song, rhythm, and community engagement. Through these experiences, they help strengthen cultural identity among Native youth while also creating opportunities for others to respectfully engage with and appreciate Indigenous traditions.

Their music reflects storytelling, history, and spiritual connection, with each song rooted in tradition and purpose. Often described as the heartbeat of Indigenous culture, the drum symbolizes unity and connection across generations. By sharing their knowledge through performances, mentorship, and community involvement, the Imnizaska Drum Group helps preserve important cultural practices while ensuring they remain vibrant and meaningful in contemporary life.
